Random Hero, care to comment on the Jimbo smoke?

Last I heard is several donors were against it and didn’t even want a call made. But they ultimately know it’s Woodward’s hire. Same with Tate. He’s taken a step back, he wants Woodward to make an unimpeded hire. Personally, I think Jimbo would be a good hire…. If about 5 guys told you no.

Vance Joesph makes sense. Brother on staff, from New Orleans, plenty of connection around the state. Raymond would probably stay also. Diversity as well

Def have fellers out to see if Matt has any interest. Not sure he would leave NFL gig to go back to college.

You don’t keep people because of diversity. You keep them because they perform. Raymond is a dang good coach and heck of a recruiter. That is why you keep him.

While i usually agree, if we learned anything from the jay johnson hire, its that if someone has a source, its likely someone from the other side or from a national perspective. No one brought up jay johnson but bmac

I just don't see how he would leave the NFL so quickly. I don't really consider 2020 to be a real season.

Penn State hopes Franklin leaves so they can hire Rhule, or Fickell.

Which would likely be an upgrade for them.

I would rather not have a coach fans would be happy to see leave.

Probably the entire LSU athletic department that is currently under investigation for Title IX violations.

Urban isn't exactly known to run a clean program or be an upstanding guy and whether or not I care I would bet LSU does considering the current situation.

I hope it's Rhule or one of the younger coaches. Rhule would be a homerun.

My guess is him or CUM. I don't see why LSU wouldn't make a strong run at CUM. Only issue with him is maybe he's finally burned out? His obsession with getting tang on the side is nobody's business but his own. I'm sure LSU can cover up him banging a few coed blondes on the side like they did for O. He'd be worth it. Hell, we should feed them to him on the side to make him happy.

I would really hope LSU is not basing a hire on this. If they are they're fricking stupid. The hire is 1000x more important. You can sacrifice this class. We're talented enough plus the transfer portal makes it where you can instantly turn your team around as it's ruining the NCAA. It's built for instant gratification work for nothing just like society now.
