Based on the comments Solomon Thomas made after he signed, I definitely thought if he didn’t get better offers he would for sure atleast be an analyst for LSU. He was basically already recruiting for LSU anyway
Probably had a tentative deal back then and wanted to allow him the chance to put his name into the market for OC jobs if it were available

I love this hire in practice but in reality I’m concerned that it’s taken this long to announce and now we are here reporting how it is likely / pending and just gives me pause that this wasn’t leaked too see if he doesn’t get a bigger offer someplace else…

Guy was fired in November if someone wanted him as a OC he would have been offered it by now
