You are an unlikeable group of people in an unattractive place to live. It's great you have found someone just as terrible as all of you are! I wish LSU fans and BK the best of luck!

Even worse. It was also the recommendation of the outgoing coach, who was leaving to take the AD position at Florida. LSU passed on one Steve Spurrier, who would be hired by UF 3 years later. In 1986, Spurrier had just finished 3 successful years in the USFL. To be fair, Archer went 10-1-1 and 8-4 his first 2 seasons, finishing second and first in the SEC.

Ed Orgeron isn't a head scratcher to you?

Dinardo was terrible. Those final 2.5 seasons of him coincided with time in undergad at LSU. Frick him, he sucked and sucked bad.

Orgeron had a stint in rehab, a 10-25 prior SEC record as a coach, and barely had a grasp of the English language. Yet he still managed to politic his way into the job.

When Dinardo got Faulk to sign at LSU, that really got the ball rolling into what I call the new age of Tiger football. Lsu was losing HS prospects that were going out of state

Agreed. He was the coach who started “building the fence” around La. Everyone after has only had to maintain and continue what he started.

Les miles is an absolute moron who cost LSU multiple titles.

He got lucky as shite to win the one he won dropping 2 games. He also didn’t win the title with one of the most loaded teams ever that would have likely been considered in the GOAT team conversation with the schedule they played had they have won it all.

I'll give you Archer. And Orgeron. And you forgot Hallman.

Dinardo had winning seasons at Vandy (!!!) before laying groundwork at LSU that Saban would use for a Natty 3 years later.

Saban was a HR hire, and Les was a solid coach himself, delivering a decade of 10-wins/season on average.

Les Miles was a good hire. I hated that guy for a long time.

Dinardo was probably the best of a lot of bad options we had. He did restore the program and left a shiteload (Technical term) of talent for Saban.

Archer on paper was a good hire but was a disaster.

Oregeron (Coach Zero) was a complete disaster. It made no sense to anyone that understood football. He did recruit well in the beginning and got Joe Burrow. Outside of that, he was barely above .500.

Kelly will be a good hire. Whether it is a great hire remains to be seen.

He actually didn't. But he won SEC Coach of the Year for going 5-6, which shows how bad Vandy was.

Les miles was doing well at Ok State so I can’t necessarily blame them for that hire. Hindsight is 20/20. LSU fans loved Les for a long time because he put some really great teams on the field. The game just passed him by and he refused to change.

Refreshing to see a correct take on here.

Miles understood football. He just refused to adapt with offense when the game changed and it had to be done.
