Mine is Herman and Aranda

California Lutheran Illuminate

Bringing the LSU NWO to the SEC.

That factoid would only be told 54 times a game.

I think the general consensus is Herman/Aranda. At this point it's pretty obvious that we actually have to put some emphasis on the offense and not just have the same old shite we've had for 11 years.

Jimbo has always been my #1 choice, and having him paired with Aranda would be incredible.

That said, I don't anticipate Aranda being here for more than another season or two. It would be great while it lasted, though.

LSU: Fisher

What bothers me most about Fisher is two things:

First his damn loyalty to his OL coach and failure to hire a good DC.

The second is the holes he allows in his recruiting. This seems to familiar to what Miles did. You fail to recruit the OL and DL properly, then your success will be inconsistent in this conference.

But to be fair to Fisher, at least he knows how to run an offense.

Jimbo/Aranda or Herman/Aranda. Either one for me. Part of me wants to lean slightly more towards Herman because he runs more of a spread.

He has had to Great DCs in Pruit and Stoops but both left. FSU doesn't pay assistants very well and its why he is loyal to his Line coach, its the best he can get.

as far as recruiting ol and dl, do you rememeber his championship dline? NFL talent everywhere.

His struggles lately are more due to his failure to be able to retain assistants. He has had to settle and that is hurting him. With our budget he really wouldn't have those restrictions.

I still prefer Herman as I want to switch to the power spread as I believe that is the type of Offense that can compete with bama. and lets be honest Saban is not retiring anytime soon, prolly not for another 10 years atleast so you have to be able to compete with the machine he has built.

I beleive both jimbo or herman would be able to do that. Just partial to herman.

haha just looked it up, I was wrong, didn't realize yall had given Kelly such a raise along with the assistants last year. Why the hell would yall give kelly a raise? he sucks.

Because they didn't give Pruitt enough money so they were snake-bitten about losing another coordinator so they overpaid their shitty one.

Pruitt is apparently a big POS too and hard to work with.

Pruitt couldn't keep it in his pants. He had to leave or kiss his fiance goodbye.

Jimbo made a huge mistake on Kelly. Just like he is too loyal to Trickett

Wait.

I thought Trickett used to be an OL guru.

Did he forget how to coach? What's his deal?

That's been the narrative in the media for years but FSU fans have long since claimed he sucks.

My point. and to the response he had great DL talent when he won the championship...... why the hell didn't he replace that talent.

We had talent too in 2011, failed to replace it and we are paying for it.

It's not that Jimbo can't hire good assistants or recruit talent properly; the question is why the hell didn't he? That's what I would be asking him in an interview.

It's the inconsistency that bothers me. Maybe it's too much to ask but if we want to compete year end year out in the SEC; a coach can't be that sporadic in recruiting and hiring good coaches.

FSU hasn't played a complete game versus a power 5 team since 2013. Jimbo has gotta make some serious changes where ever he coaches next year.
