Clark is not an idiot...he gives some of the most insightful opinions out of all talking heads on ESPN. He might say something from time to time I don’t agree with but may no means is he an idiot!

Not sure Raymond is the right guy at DC yet. He hasn't done it anywhere and LSU has to get this right. Now, if they want to up his role in the gameplan on defense...I'm all for that. You don't just hand the keys to a guy who has never sniffed being a DC. Give him a bigger title and let him be a significant role in the gameplans for defense.
We need a homerun hire. I wouldn't be mad at Raymond being DC though. I'd rather him stay and he has been an elite recruiter+developer in the best DBs in the country every year.

I think we could do worse. I also think the majority of the fanbase would get ptsd if we go the co-DC route coming off a title season

O has had a target in mind I believe for awhile. It won’t be Raymond. But I would expect a tie to LSU or

We basically had co-ocs this year between 2 guys so it can work if the chemistry is there.

Personally I think we could do a lot worse than Raymond but I think we could do a lot better as well.
I wouldn’t be pissed to give him a chance but it damn well better work out if we do.

Don’t be surprised if the same players that supported O to be hired blast him in public if Raymond is who they want and he doesn’t promote him.

There are rarely co-coordinators. Usually one is the actual coordinator and one is just a title for money and prestige.
