I truly feel like this is as close as this board will get to running a team, for better or for worse. (Probably for the worst but hey)

Well, yea, there's that and the fact he was a Broyles award finalist and very well known in coaching ranks and had maybe the best offense this year.

I honestly don't know what's true or not regarding Briles but I'd satisfied with Canada. Of course I'd never heard of the guy until recently but he can't possibly do worse than what we've grown accustomed to seeing.

Exactly.... Briles is damaged goods and it's awesome that people want to hire someone who covered up rape so that someone who badly mismanaged rape can be his boss. Is the logic that since they were on opposite sides of the rape spectrum that they'd cancel each other out? Like a net neutral on rape?

If he can develope a qb and is an avg play caller I'm in. QB development is critical. We have more money go get a qb guy.
