I don't really know who the best QB is but I'll trust Canada and Co. to make that decision. That said, I do know DE isn't close to good enough to beat Bama or compete for a Nat'y. Look at the 4 QB's who made the PO's last year. DE isn't sniffing any of those guys in talent. The kid from Washington would be the best comparison as true pocket passer and that would still be a mismatch of epic proportions. I think we should give one of the you ger guys the nod unless they aren't close to being ready
Guys using the talent excuse....coaches get to be Coordinators at the top programs by defying talent at the lesser programs. I said it in great detail in the NC State threads about Canada, he will be fine at LSU but his scheme isn't gonna beat Bama. Canada doesnt threaten all parts of the field often enough and he is comfortable dinking and dunking with the lesser explosive athletes on the field. Its who he is period. Give me a break with the talent convo. The great O minds of our time have done it at all levels. I watched Canada for 3 years at NC State with a pretty decent QB and he is solid, but we will need Aranda's 10 pt defense to hold up or even improve to beat Bama. In games where we can dominate the LOS we will roll.sound familiar?

^Just curious if you've ever watched Canada's Os prior to this week? Dupree if he's wise will go yesterday. Canada wants the ball in his HB/TE's hands early and often on short horizontal stuff. Dupree will be a blocker nxt year if he stays. WR's especially big down field pass catchers are gonna weep
Here's a hint. He likes the ball in the hands of the bigger slower guys a lot more than the fast quick guys down the field. It pains me to have to watch this guy a second time at a school I pull for. I hate to be that guy on this board but yes start thinking of who will be the hback/TE guys because they are gonna get the ball a ton and the WR's will be blocking for them instead of the other way around. Watched it 3years at NC State and this year at Pitt. Go watch the 4th Quarter of the UNC game when all they needed was a first down. Canada will do fine against most of the schedule. He wont ever beat Nick Saban though, with this dink dunk scheme unless Aranda can pitch a shutout.
Great! The CLM years are once again in full effect in BR.

Canada lovers you've been warned. Hope you like dink and dunk football where an Offensive Holding call on 1st down means guaranteed punt on 4th. As a NC State fan I'm astonished at the momentum he has gained on this board. LSU has the resources to do much better
