Most I see coming of this is that TT will use the threat as reason to force him to resign.

Really? I could make it up. Not too hard. I find it hard to believe that the kid he would decide to do this to is the son of an ESPN analyst.

Leach againts Craig James, my money is on Craig.

In Texas, this is just considered a "timeout." James displeased Leach so the coach put the player in timeout.
After all, this is the school that hired Bobby Knight after he choked his players.

Let's see, the dude apparently:
1) Think's he's a pirate;
2) Whines about players' "fat little girlfriends"
and
3) Locks players in the "closet".
Yeah, I think he might have a few issues.

Leach is obsessed with pirates of the non-Pittsburgh type. There must be 2000 articles out there on this.

TT sucked before Leach and they will suck after. I suggest that they play this thing very intelligently. If they enjoy winning, they will find a way to appease him. If they don't like winning, they will continue to act accordingly and will lose him (fired or not) and will likely face a nice little law suit on top of it all. The icing on the cake will be a return to the bottom of the Big 12 battling Baylor for last place.
We as a nation have become so pussified that it is astonishing. I am not saying it is "right" to lock a kid in a closet. However, I am saying that men are not in the realm of being as mentally (or physically) tough now as 40 or 50 years ago precisely because we have watered down the acceptable behavior of men in general.
It sucks to be locked in a closet for 3 hours. The coach, and apparently a physician, thought that James was faking an injury. He was probably trying to toughen him up or make him quit. I like the fact that he was not worried who the kid was, although it was admittedly a decision at his own peril.

On another blog, a guy "close to the situation" said that James showed up at practice with some "cool" sunglasses on. Leach asked him why he came to practice with sunglasses on, and James popped off something kind of smart to Leach. Leach then told the trainers to find the darkest, tightest place they could find to put him in while the team practiced.
Sounds like there's pretty bad blood between James' dad and Leach over little James' playing time. Also, other players and former players are talking about how Craig James is quite a pain and tries to insert his ideas on the program.
Sounds like a mess.

I could definitely see James being an enormous pain in the arse.

Leach's attorney admits to the electrical closet.
LINK
The guy has to be an idiot to think this isn't preposterous behavior. This "cool, dark place" crap isn't going to fly.
Wonder if Bourbon Meyer locked teary Teblow into some small dark closets while he was recuperating.

I was on the field for the coin toss at the SMU/Navy game one year. James, Eric Dickerson (The Pony Express) and Roger Staubach were also on the field. Most knew me, I had to tell people who the other guys were....

He isn't even denying it, thats the craziest part. How in the hell does this nutt case think he can justify this? Even if he was under some kind of medical supervision, how does justify locking the kid up? I am not pointing fingers, but their is all kinds of shite here that doesn't make any sense.

I'm really baffled and befuddled by this entire deal. I think he needs a new attorney, also. That guy hasn't done him any favors. If he's going to admit to this behavior on Leach's behalf, he better come up with some better explanations.

You and I think the same. I guess C. James wants to take down another Texas College.
