Good I like it. Don’t understand why everyone is stuck on having to hire a young DC.

He's what..51? In no universe is that old for a coach! People need to find another reason to crap on him.

It's all the ones that were 10 years old when Pelini left.

LSU fans seem to forget how much fun his Ds were to watch, I don’t get it. The guy is a great defensive mind, the can’t adjust to the modern game is ridiculous

Don't know but I hope he ditched his idea of taking 230lb safeties and putting them in the nickel/dime slot over CBs mismatching them on the fastest/twitchiest slot WRs ever.

That's where spread teams exploited his defense the most. They'd look for the match ups where the S was clearly at a disadvantage.

I remember complaints of a defense that didn't live up to it's potential

Pelini is the new DC

Richard wanted the job, but wanted an Aranda deal with little to no recruiting
CEO said no, everybody recruits
Apparently the Aranda arrangement coupled with Brady not recruiting caused hardships
So CEO moved on, offered it to Pelini and he accepted , pending BP in person interviews and acceptance by Woodward

I don't get the Pelini can't coach against the spread. If LSU hadn't outscored every team on the planet, a lot of you would have been screaming Aranda couldn't coach against the spread.
