Lincoln was never seriously considered by Woodward

Woodward does not have his eyes on Lincoln
Riley according to a source. There were plenty of exploratory discussions, but it didn't get beyond that point. He's a big fish, but Woodward did not cast his
way.
It's evident the LSU AD has his eyes on a prize, but I
do not expect any announcements or official hiring in
the coming days. Woodward is going to surprise
people here.
We're compiling a list and doing some hard core
digging right now. I've got my eyes on Luke Fickell and
Mario Cristobal at the moment. It may be wise for
others to do the same.
