Lincoln Riley destroyed Oklahoma’s program in the short term and underwhelmed at USC. We are insane if we even interview him
ETA to those downvoting this -- he got caught recruiting for USC while coaching for Oklahoma early early early in the season. A bunch of key players and recruits mysteriously transferred to USC and the results they got were.... USC.

Can't be true. This board is adamant that he went to USC because he was scared to coach in the SEC even though this board was also adamant that he was going to be the LSU coach.

He thought he was going to be coaching in the PAC12, with an easier path to the playoff. Instead he's logging frequent flyer miles in a top heavy B1G with indifferent fans and a disengaged admin.
If he's got a fight with heavyweights either way, why not go back east for bigger money, crowds, and exposure.

I would stay far away from Stinkin Riley. He was handed a title ready team by Bob and pissed it away. He had 3 Heisman like QBs and still couldn't get it done. 2 won it and 1 was runner up.
His teams got progressively worse each year. He left the team gutted and then tried to snake out. It was discussed how he might have been throwing games to avoid playoffs so he could leave earlier. If you go back and watch games with that info you can see many head scratching play calls.
Then tried to leave without talking to players. Bob found out while golfing and called LR up and told him to get his arse to the players and tell them like a man.
There were many other things but he is a snake. I would stay far away from him if I was LSU.
