Someone posted that the admins don't think the system is broke. Just need to make adjustments. How can u arse wipes not see lsu lost 4 games by a combined 23 pts. Why change the whole car out when all u need is a new starter. Put ensmimger back as te coach and hire a new oc. Let O manage the brand. It's like Mercedes brand. You don't shite can it, you fine tune it

I understand the analogy and that's probably the angle that coach presented but we're talking about a five six year run of really horrible offensive production and almost 10 years of zero quarterback recruiting and development that put LSU in the very very bottom of rankings out of 120 teams which is an embarrassment when you consider LSU still holds the number one spot of producing the most NFL Talent of all college teams.
Yes we have good defense we have okay special teams we have talent all over the place we need great quarterback and great skiing and great play-calling and LSU is right there competing for championships yes we get that without the right coach leaving the program this is likely not going to happen coach kiffin is a Band-Aid at best an oranda what do we do with him when he leaves in two or three years?

No it's like you are Kia and you are trying to compete with Mercedes. You want to be like Mercedes but you're Kia. Mercedes is spending the money and bringing in the best and brightest to improve the brand. You are trying to feel good about the fact that you have made a profit and the company is fine so all you need to do is make minor tweaks. This is LSU vs where they want to be. If you want to move up, you need to make the difficult decision and try to move up. Otherwise, we can all just be happy with 9-3 seasons with an occasional 10-2 (i.e. the exact same place we've been for 10 years).
If the system didn't need an overhaul then Les should still be the coach.

You must have missed the Bama game where we struggled to get plays off in time and O failed to call timeout in a 4th quarter tie with us threatening after a turnover on 3rd and 3 around the Bama 30. We got the penalty, had to pass and Bama sacked us because they knew we had to pass and we never threatened again. Game over. Game management is important. We failed with that against our toughest opponent. And we called a play that Guice was obviously not that familiar with on 4th and Goal against UF and lost. These things are important...sorry.
