Let’s say OU wins and then wins the Big 12 Championship and then makes the CFP…

Then that has to take us to our next option. Right?
Who’s the likely candidate at that point?

I think you have to be willing to wait if Riley is truly committed and signed.

If he's signed then you wait. If he's not then this board will be a shite show.

We will know more and more as time goes slowly. Once Aranda signs (confirmed) and Napier to Florida is official.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that

OU OWNs little brother and Riley has never lost to them. I heard yesterday Ok State has beaten OU 10 times since the end of WW2!!!

Ok State won’t have a better shot to dethrone the king.

The waiting game for a coach that is likely to end up in the CFP makes me think it’s not LR at all. I think it’s someone totally off or under the radar.

I just don’t see how OU would have a chance to make the CFP. I believe it would take some serious meltdowns in the Big 10 for them to have a shot even if they ran the table.

Let’s say I win the powerball. Oh wait, that’s not happening!

IMO, a 12-1 Big 12 Champion should make the CFP.

The deal is already done and has been done for a couple weeks. Nothing matters now in terms of wins and losses.

Campbell and Stoops are options before Napier.

None of them are; it’s already done.

12-1 or 13-0 Georgia is in.
12-1 OSU or Michigan is in.
13-0 Cincinnati is in (IMO)
12-1 Bama is in.

If a 12-1 Big 12 champ in that scenario they’re out. They need a little chaos.

I’ve played with every scenario possibly

For the people saying they have “no shot”

Assume form holds and UGA Ohio St and Cincy win out

You’d have 12-1 B12 OU, 11-2 Bama and 11-1 ND for the 4th spot

Every predictor and Vegas say OU would go in that scenario. Which is very possible. Saying “no chance” is a bit of a stretch.

They very well can and should since ACC and Pac12 is out.

If UGA beats Bama
OSU beats Michigan - wins championship
Cincy wins out

OU can 100% get in if they win out.

If Bama beats UGA and the rest of what I predicted follows then OU is out.

I just can't see ND in since they have conference championship. OU plays a #7 team and if they win they play them again they'll be probably #15 or lower that alone beats anything ND has with 1 game left to jump them.

I hadn’t really followed it that close. If uga beats bama who’s the 4th team?

This Bama team is not beating UGA. Bama is out.

Exactly. It would be OU or ND and you would think Ou gets in because they have an extra game against another ranked opponent.

It’s kinda been shown in the past conference championships don’t hold all that much weight

So that means we need to pull for Bama to win their next two games. I never thought I’d do that. If they lose either game and OU wins out, they should make it.
