Let's revisit Orgeron's introductory press conference where he lied to LSU fans.

None of what he said during that conference has manifested into an actual reality. In fact, he's gone in the complete opposite direction with respect to most of what he said during that conference.

Wrong. Canada is by no means considered one of the best OCs in the country - and if he was, why would Ed intervene so heavily in his offensive design and play calling? The fact that we're about to promote Ensminger is further proof that this quote was a complete fabrication.
Flat out lie. Period. Canada doesn't run a spread offense, and neither will Ensminger.
Another blatant lie. Ed seems to be favoring Brennan for next year, who is clearly more of a pocket passer. And our #1 QB target for 2019 is Gunnell, who is, you guessed it...a dedicated pocket passer type QB.

Compete for SEC titles very fast? I think most fans would consider "very fast" to be less than 2 seasons. If we're not in Atlanta next year (which we won't be), you can go ahead and add this to the list.
Orgeron was then asked about what those "puzzle pieces" would be. His reponse -
More lies. Promoting Ensminger once again clearly demonstrates that Ed is more concerned with surrounding himself with non-threatening minions that personally make him feel comfortable, as opposed to bringing in real coaches that can have us competing at the highest level.
It's painful watching what's happening to this program. Georgia is on the verge of winning a national title tonight, and they fired Richt for the same reasons we fired Miles. Despite having the same level of talent, they've gone in one direction, and we've gone in the other.

“You have to have dual threat quarterbacks that can run the ball and throw it, but you have to have somebody that knows how to run it (spread).”

“I believe we can compete for it (SEC titles) very fast. Now that I’ve been given full reign for the future, and have a vision, and…there are certain pieces of the puzzle that have to come together, and I do believe they will come together, and when they do come together, off we go.”

Well, just getting the best staff in America.

Ed is a Salesman first and foremost, that's why he has good recruiting credentials.
