Leach to LSU-Seriously, does anyone think this would EVER happen?

I know it is fun to think about us actually having an offensive genius to run things here, but there is NO WAY Leach comes to LSU as the OC! Why would he?
AND, what head coach would want to try to reign him in as their assistant? Makes NO SENSE at all. Given Leslie's aversion/reactions to unethical actions by players in the past, there is no way he goes after Leach as a coach, and no way Leach would agree to come here to work under Les.

PS - Mettenberger's slapping of a coed's buttock region does not constitute "unethical action", and therefore Leslie can feel free to get him over here ASAP.

I could see it if miles is renegotiating his contract. Why not? I think it would be awesome and talk about getting some media time it would triple with the mad hatter and the pirate

A head coach that knows he has the defense to compete for championships. Just needs to fix the offense.
Leach and Miles are very familiar having being in the big 12 together for what half a decade ? Remember one of Miles' best friends is Gary Pinkel. He keeps up with those guys.
All Miles does is make excellent hires. If he screws up a hire, he is damn sure not to screw up the next one.
Miles wants to be the CEO. He doesn't want to run interference.
As for Leach not wanting to come here. He doesn't have a job. The salary he is currently making at the CBS network probably just isnt cutting it.

Leach will not come to LSU. He is going to settle his lawsuits with ESPN and TT, then wait for a HC slot.

ETA: I don't think Leach comes here, but dismissing it out of hand is the wrong move.

If Miles left, we'd be praying Leach would come here to be HC. He's THE top candidate for everyone in the country who fired/lost a head coach.

I wanted Skip to hire Leach back then, so there are some LSU fans who like him. I don't care what ESPN and Cheating James says about Leach. I know Red Raider fans who are still mad that TT let ESPN and the James' run Leach off.

If you want a great offense but a poor defense then, Leach is your guy.
