Also read on Rivals that Pat Hill (Fresno St HC) was the leader for that job.

Hill, Leach, and Brian Kelley. I think Kelley would be the best fit for UW

If he were to be hired at UW, would he arrive to gameday on a pirate ship?

If Leach was smart, he would stay @ Tech- he will always have a job there...UW is a reach...

pat hill has done decent at fresno but I don't get the hard on some people have for him. so many rantards wanted him last year if our job opened up

Why would anyone want that job? I see it as a step down for Leach.

Washington had some decent team under James. Seattle is one of the most dynamic and beautiful cities in the US and Leach could pull in California talent and be compeitive in the Pac 1.

"We're moving along and making some good progress, talking to lots of people, which is what we wanted," university president Mark Emmert said of the search, according to the Seattle Times. "I think we will be able to resolve this in the near future, but I'm not going to tell you what I mean by near future. But I'm really confident we are going to have a coach in place before the LSU game."
