No disrespect to Frank as he has helped LSU for a long time there but it’s been a while since he was coaching down there. I am fine if Kiffin keeps him I am fine if he doesnt. Making tough decisions like that is part of being a HC.

Does the reason even matter?
I am evaluating his actual performance and it has not warranted being the sacred cow that he is on this board.
We had a good portal DB class. Otherwise…..meh….
LSU now has the staff that found Trinidad Chambliss, kewan Lacy, princewill umanmielen (who has as many sacks as our entire transfer DLine class), Harrison Wallace (outgained all our transfer receivers combined) etc.

Thomas helped build the machine at Ole Miss. It's why LSU hired him and KB in the first place. Your staff may have approved the wrong players though.

Kewan and Princewill were already very familiar with Ole Miss. Ole Miss would have gotten Lacy out of HS but Mizzou came through with a massive bag on ESD and Lane doesn't overpay for HS talent, to his credit.
Thomas helped get Princewill's older brother to Ole Miss. Princewill was coming to Ole Miss regardless.
The staff you hired did think highly of Sage Ryan though.

It's smart for Ole Miss to hire frank Wilson if they want him for his recruiting. He isn't a very good coach. That's not sour grapes.

I mean it’s amazing. Ole Miss was just propping up a ringer as a head coach for the last 6 years and trying to give him massive extensions when Austin Thomas, Pete Golding and Joe Judge were really the ones running things.
Charlie Weis Jr also was a reason for the success but only for a week.
Man Im so upset as an LSU fan that we got sold a bill of goods.
