L'Damian Washington, Frank Wilson, and Austin Thomas should be announced for Ole Miss soon

Washington as WR coach - spent last season at Kentucky but was on Alex Golesh and Jeff Lebby's staffs before that. Golesh and Lebby run a very similar system to JDB so familiarity should help there. Washington is listed as the lead candidate for a few jobs and also has an offer to stay at UK but as of now, I expect him at Ole Miss.
Wilson as RB coach - Pete was Wilson's DC at UTSA so obvious connection there.

Poor Ole Miss. Letting emotion control them. Austin Thomas helped put together an overpaid shite roster this year. Wilson hasn't had a good RB production wise since Miles era. Taking LSU's sloppy seconds. There's a reason Kiffin was okay giving them a pink slip. Here's another thing, Kiffin is very familiar with both of them as both have been on staff with him so that's even more telling.

I didn't mind keeping him around for NO connections but not for coaching. His production is way under par since he came back. His rotations of personnel was also atrocious. I figured maybe it's BK but it's not as you see him now still doing the same thing. I think the game has passed Frank by, unfortunately.
He's one of the if not highest paid RB coaches in the country. Kiffin looked at this and said production on the field doesn't match what we should be getting. He's right. Thanks for everything Frank but it's not hard to go buy someone else in the NO community to establish ties again.

I can think of at least one obvious distinguishing detail… the year that the Rant declared Raymond “washed up,” he had two top-100 draft pick CBs, one of them third overall.

We spent a ton of money to end up in the Texas Bowl.
That’s the point.
The DBs panned out. No qualms there.
Otherwise his roster sucked and we had even more holes the year before.
This current season: we had MASSIVE OL holes. The DL production was mediocre from the transfers. We let Xavier Atkins go. TE and WR were HUGE unbelievable misses with MASSIVE wasted dollars.
And then to top it all off the dude didn’t even know that AJ Haulcy was suspended to start the season. That is literally his job to know that.

They are the playoff team, yet are still desperate for any win they can get over LSU. I think Kiffin, plus most of his offense staff for Wilson still has the scale heavily tipped to LSU. That won't stop them from acting like they pulled a fast one on LSU, even though Kiffin chose not to retain him as RB coach.

Do they feel like they’re gaining something by putting Frank on their staff? It supposed to be a gotcha moment for them? Jokes on them when they see how poor of a position coach he is…. Hate to be the bearer of bad news as well, he’s not some lockdown for the city of New Orleans. He’s missed on New Orleans kids coaching at LSU…. Do they really think he’s going to come pull them all the Ole Miss? Good luck with that.

Bless your heart that you think Kiffin didn’t retain Thomas for LSU’s 2025 roster. He didn’t retain him because Kiffin’s a petty little man that is butthurt that Thomas left him for LSU.
