Lincoln Riley

Why does anyone even mention this name?

He's going to make a lateral move from a conference with pathetic defenses to the toughest division in CFB?

By throwing in for the UH job it's clear he wants to be a HC.

Which is the more surefire route?

Lighting up Swiss cheese defenses and working for Stoops or reinventing a totally dysfunctional offense in the SEC under Bebe?

Not going to happen, most people have heard of Steve Ensminger.

To double his pay I think he would. But you're right, he'd be gone in a year or two.

Can we officially stop with the Ed Loves LSU crap? The man loves being employed (overpaid, even) in his home state, but historically Ed has not showed some enduring love for LSU.

Oh, and from all of us who still can't believe Alleva hired BinderBebe, we told you so (on the promised OC BS).

I'm sure OU would up his pay enough to keep him.

But if we could get him for 2 years I'd take it.

The way it's looking now we will likely settle on some head scratching hire.

While it disappointing Kiffin will not call the plays in 2016, it may be a blessing in disguise. Kiffin was gonna be a head man again soon....so he was a short term answer anyway. Maybe the guy we pick will have more stability & can "stay a while".

Kiffin is not the be all, end all that folks think. There are a ton of good offensive minds out there. Hope Coach O can land a good one.

Yeah good call. Let's hire a mediocre or bad OC who will stay a while instead of a good one who will leave after a couple years

I'm not upset we didn't land Lane...... it's the whole Coach O and his infamous Binder that had so much hope and promises for this program! JA fell for it and the BINDER is falling apart at the seams!

At this point.. I think there will be a minimal melt unless it's Ensminger, at which point the entire fan base has (reasonably) no reason to trust this administration to do anything correctly.
