ULL AD wanted to hire Larry Blakeney but was over ruled by Authemont who followed Ray Blanco’s Lead and hired Jerry “Toothpick” Baldwin

if you account for only his time at ole miss he's in the discussion. i think his time at LSU has gotten him out of it though.

Yeah, but those stooges would still argue that the only reason O did what he did this year is because the best kicker in the country missed an extra point and the SEC was mediocre overall.

The only improvement the LSU O in 2017 made over the 2015 and 2016 Os is less turnovers, all other stats were lower.

The AD did not want Baldwin. He was about to be fired from LSU.
The university president and Vice President made the decision to hire him. 6 wins in 3 seasons followed. He then sued the university for racial discrimination.
