You think he’s staying at ole miss long term? I doubt it. That’s a Stepping stone to a big job.

I’d love to see him run UF into the ground.

better job than Ole Miss, his recruiting will be better than Mullen's and he will be in the east and not the gauntlet of the west every year.

8–4 8–3 1st (Eastern) Cotton†
5–6 2–6

Getting fired for that resume makes Florida a better job than Ole Miss?? Ole Miss will pay Kiffin a top 10/15 salary and give him total control of the program.

Also Kiffin is a pretty mediocre recruiter. He’d do about what Mullen is doing in recruiting at UF.

And the SEC is moving to a pod format. A pod with A&M, LSU, and State isn’t exactly a gauntlet…

I can see a Miami AD pulling the trigger but not a Florida Gator AD.

Franklin has Florida written all over him. Expectations similar to Penn State, academically very similar, with a better recruiting base.

That's your great wish, but it's not going to happen. LSU is going to be the next dynasty.

Buckle up Buckaroo, it’s happening.

kiffin at UF is scary for the rest of the sec.

herman would also be scary with AR15 waiting in the wings.

I agree Herman would be awesome, but I don't see a major program hiring him just yet.

Kiffin loves SEC ball though. He loves the competition.
if he "loves the competition" so much just stay at OM.

i don't see why not. he was let go at texas after a bowl game. too late to land any good hfc job. if he was fired at the end of the regular season, he woulda been scooped up.

he's not in the same catagory as failed coaches who get fired. it was a political/booster thing.

until texas gets the boosters out of the players ears and pockets, theyre gonna continue to be a shitshow. herman still did a solid job with an almost impossible situation.

I don’t understand how everyone as a LSU fan could say “ kiffin will kill it there” and not think about our own vacancy smh

I don't think it means they want him to go there.

I have seen some LSU fans say it would be a bad hire, but most probably agree it would be a great fit. I think there are a lot of LSU fans that want Kiffin at LSU. I have been so back and forth between the idea of him. On one hand I think his confidence would attract great players. Then on another hand I think he gambles a bit too much. Like almost careless.

They need a AD first. I think Diaz gets another year only because Miami just fired their AD and shouldn't make a HC change until they get a new AD in place

Nah. Manny was fired for all intents and purposes a month or so ago. He’s done. New AD will be in place within the next 1-2 weeks and BoT has already been back chanelling to Mario for a while.

Mario is 1a. I think he comes. But, in the chance he doesn’t, lane is probably #2 and if offered, he’ll definitely come. According to those that know him, hes been after the Miami gig for a while now.

I agree with you it’s definitely a gamble but there isn’t really no safe hires out there and the ones that are safe ain’t leaving (Nick Saban, Kirby, or jimbo)

His teams are undisciplined too. He'd win a bunch at LSU, but I think he'd lose games he shouldn't because of it as well.
