Extremely familiar with the state and the HS contacts, bigger, better job than Ole Miss, his recruiting will be better than Mullen's and he will be in the east and not the gauntlet of the west every year.

I think it's obvious he wants to make a move with Corral leaving, and Florida is a hell of alot better job than Miami right now.

If he leaves, I'd expect Jeff Lebby to be Elevated to HC at Mississippi.

Honestly, I would rather see him at Miami. That would be a great fit culturally and I think it would be easier for him in the ACC. The SEC East is average outside of UGA but he could really own the ACC Coastal if Miami commits more to football.

I do agree with the Lebby promotion. He's honestly the straw that stirs the Ole Miss offense (along with Corral of course).

Kiffin loves SEC ball though. He loves the competition. The ACC is just way too weak, much like the big12. Both are a joke.

Napier will be coach at UF when LSU whiffs the hire and LSU will get bullied for the next 10 years like what Spurrier did

That's your great wish, but it's not going to happen. LSU is going to be the next dynasty.

I could see him there or Miami.

He seems to really like it in Florida. From what I've read (I know, grain of salt ) he has a house in Boca but if either of those open up and they make a run at him, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take one of those.

He has a history of not staying at one program for very long.

He openly stated on Gameday last week that he still has a house in Boca. I thought it was very odd to say that, especially while representing Ole Miss on the show, but its clear he would leave for the Sunshine State of he had the chance.

I agree with the poster that said he's a better cultural fit at Miami, but I also agree that he probably wants to stay in the SEC because of the prestige and glamor of that league. If he goes to Miami, he will have to struggle getting the facilities and support he needs from the school, while at Florida, all he has to do is improve the recruiting a little bit and he's back in the thick of it.

Plus, the east is kind of a compromise. You're still in the SEC and in Florida at a premier job, but you get out of the west and don't have to slum it in the shitty ACC.

If money and support were equal, though, I wonder which job he would take.

That's what I've been saying. He'd kill it at UF, and there will finally be a Florida school that most Florida kids will want to go to again.

He'll definitely leave OM at some point. But given his history is a big program ready to take a chance on him?

I can see a Miami AD pulling the trigger but not a Florida Gator AD.

no they don't. Well, most of us know that he is here only for a couple of years and have accepted it. I wouldn't doubt him leaving in 2 weeks with the right offer.

They need a AD first. I think Diaz gets another year only because Miami just fired their AD and shouldn't make a HC change until they get a new AD in place

Dude can't leave he just got there.

Bad choice if so, he's go enough of a rep as it is.

Kiffin = Mullen. Offensive coaches who are easy to hate. Neither is good enough for a big program but can make a Mississippi school feel sexy for the prom.
