Not for the average buyer who has to deal with mortgage application and underwriting, appraisals, inspections, going back and forth with sellers on negotiating repairs or credits for issues that come up on inspection.
For a cash buyer who isn't worried about inspections or appraisals, they can get to closing pretty fast.

We moved earlier this year, and from offer to closing was just over three weeks. With a priority title search, I would imagine it could be completed in one to two weeks at most.

highly unlikely... houses take a few weeks to close, even if paying all cash... title work still has to be done, and that takes a minute, even for the fastest title attorneys out there... i think 6 days is the fastest i've ever seen, in my experience as a realtor

it also takes a few weeks for the courthouse to officially change the address to the new owner, once the house closes...
