I’m not sure why they suggest Steele to LSU... I think it’s BS.... but still.... I like the breakdown on so many defensive coordinators.

Pretty good and informative article.

Jim Leonard is my favorite guy.... he’s not listed in the article.

Oregon Defensive Coordinator Search

You knew damn well I was going to read "Orgeron" defensive coordinator search.

Now with Kevin Steele reportedly not joining Harsin's staff, he'll be a free agent and likely headed to LSU. But, Oregon should give him a call.

If it was true that he is "likely headed" here, that would necessarily mean that O already gave him a call. So both sentences can't be true simultaneously.

That would be the death blow to O next season, looks like old info.

Yes. Hiring one of the most successful active SEC defensive coordinators would be a deathblow. What an insane decision.

Typical article from up North. Can't get their head out of their arse long enough to know what's going on down here. Stupid article.

Are you stupid?

Do I want Steele? No.

But the guy has fielded one of the best defenses in the SEC for last few years.

It would be far from a death nail. It just wouldn’t be exciting

Yeah I give Steele credit what he has done at auburn. I don’t know why he wasn’t better than one year at lsu. That is the concerning part

You guys are totally underestimating Steele. Auburn always kept our stats low even last year. He also knows the SEC and recruits respect him. We could do much worse

Are you stupid too ?

The guy back stabbed one of the nicest guys in football and you want that cancer At LSU ?

There is a reason that Auburn kicked his arse loose. He left us to secure his Alabama pension last time.

Pelini had a much better track record as an SEC DC than Steele. Jus sayin'.

I thought we already tried a former LSU DC and it didn’t work. So now we will try another that left for somewhere else.

He was bad when he was here, but was pretty solid at Auburn. Kinda conflicted
