Save money in the long run and have an OC that can groom Brennan and implement the spread with power run attack the way Art did at Baylor....

Can you imagine the excitement down on the bayoooouuuu

That would be a steal even if we doubled his money. It could help with the unfortunate Canada money fiasco.

I like Briles too because he may be here for a few years as well as he passes and runs the ball

You sir are correct, Briles wouldn’t be a one and done, I could see him and Aranda building a foundation here at LSU for the long term

Could you just imagine getting a QB developer that’s worked the spread and worked with RG3, Stidham, Bryce Petty....

Wait a minute...?

Is it Kendall Briles or is it Lane Kiffin at FAU?

Was is Kendall Briles or was it Art Briles at Baylor?

What are we really getting with this guy? All I can see is that this guy's been around some incredible offensive minds. IDK, please share your insight if you have any.

What OC beat Alabama two years in a row?

Now go offer him the same that Aranda is making and let’s go beat hell out of the Tide

It's Briles. It's how Kiffin got him to FAU. Promised him control of the offense

Nothing the LSU brass has done indicates they will do this.
Ain't happening. It's Ensminger.

LOL. If you knew Lane Kiffin you would know how ridiculous this sounds. I love Lane; met him and Monte on the recruiting trail in 2011 while he was at USC. He's an egomaniac, he would NEVER agree to that. SORRY.

With all due respect to Ensminger, if that happens, we will have a defensive line coach as a head coach and a tight ends coach as an OC.

LSU would essentially by using handwritten mail and typwriters while the rest of the league is using top notch PC's and email.

If we exchange Canada for Briles I don't know how this could go down as anything but a monster win.

Seems like there is smoke that LSU's higher ups said no to Briles.

One problem with this is that O and Kiff are friends and he may not want to poach his friend's OC. KB learned from Art and has become quite good in his own right. He is qualified.

Ensminger is good but not elite. He also does not want the job. An OC has a much greater time commitment than a TE coach. He is content.

We don't need another rapist on staff. Ensminger is a stand up dude.

I mean, I've heard that he is one of the hardest working people on that staff and even stepped up to be OC the year Miles was fired (even though it's reported he doesn't want OC responsibilities). I can at least respect the man for working hard and doing what's best for the program.

That aside, I fear 8-9 win seasons with a below average offense will continue to be the norm for this program with the way Ed Orgeron is running it.

Quite literally a lateral move from Les Miles.
