I have no inside info, nor do I know who will be hired; but the above are actual facts. Piecing together same tends to indicate JV might just be telling the truth.
As far as time frame for the announcement, that actually makes a ton of sense, assuming your dates are correct. It doesn't help us on the "whom" front, but you might be on to something timing wise.

True. People tend to forget the moving parts that are involved in big hires/contracts like this and ncaa rules involved. I’m still of the opinion that Woodward has his man and is laughing at the chaos right now.

If it's Stoops, Jimbo, or BOB, I see the fans going full 2017 UT Schiano up in here. Also think there would be a great deal of disappointment with Campbell but not quite to the point of a legendary melt like the above.

I don't have a source but everyone just seems to be ignoring him and we know he's flaky and we know he's having a bad time in the NFL. But at the same time it's also a total slam dunk for Woodward and Irvin can just say he hated coaching pro athletes like Saban did and people will have to accept it. Khan wants him gone. It just seems like there's upside for everyone and yet no one is really talking about it.

Why would JV put himself out there like that? When you put a deadline on your statement it won’t end well for you if it doesn’t pan out.
