Check out Billy Napiers record before going to UF.
Veryyyyyy similar.
Sumrall's teams play with toughness. Napiers', not as much.
LSU needs toughness again.

There are way better options than Sumrall.

I’m sorry, but I don’t want Tulane’s friggin Coach!! Not now not ever. Tulane hires OUR Coach NOT the other way around!

Sumrall definitely has some positive things going for him, but that 45-10 L to Ole Miss stands out as a totally non-competitive game. Call it talent or a bad day, but to me it is a red flag. I'm sure he'll be part of the interview process and I'll defer to our search team as he is evaluated against others.
He's at Tulane. Ole Miss is 7th in the nation.
Get real

I watched that entire game. Ole Miss executed very well on third down situations on offense and defense. It wasn't non- competitive, Tulane couldn't throw the ball at all. Tulane was a lot more physical than LSU against Ole Miss. They ran it for around 200 yards.
