The bad:

Jimbo might bring his O-line coach with him. While it wouldn't be the worst hire, i think we should get a fresh O-line coach not at FSU or LSU, atm. I know LSU always ranks high for top O lines, but i feel like we need new blood here.

I like Coach O, a lot, but not enough to be LSU' HC...not after last week...failed his audition, nothing personal

The above is based on what I've heard from some people who claim to be in the know, along with a dash of hunch, and pinch of common sense.

but you have no FACTS man. even on what happened last year. you THINK LSU poopooed the deal last year but that is NOT A FACT.

your friends gossip and your hunches do not constitute common sense.

imo, Fisher is the best coach we could hire. somebody queered the deal last year and I "heard" it was Fisher. no matter who is correct that constitutes a huge barrier to getting a deal done this year. I hope it happens though.

The fact that they thought what was shown that night against Tamu was an outpouring of support to keep Miles is still funny to me.

They had some folks there that wanted him to stay, but if you would have told them that showing that support would mean keeping Miles, a hush would have fallen over the majority of that place. Imo

Nah there were actually a ton in that crowd that wanted him back, I remember arguing with some. The whole leaving his future up in the air helped him gain public sympathy. Still wasn't enough to cause that stubborn mother fricker to change.

Aranda will be a head coach next year or the year after. He won't be there long.

Agreed, and I wonder if Aranda wouldn't be more interested in working w/ Jimbo the next 1-2 years, as he's a "plug and play" ready HC who'll win right away. Coaching a wickedly strong D the next 1-2 years means the difference b/w getting a Power 5 HC job vs. something less than that (should he, say, leave for a HC job after this season).
