Jim Mora will be named football coach at UCLA
quote:

Saturday, a source close to the situation told ESPNLosAngeles.com.

Mora, the former coach of the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons, is currently an analyst for the NFL network. He replaces Rick Neuheisel, who was fired after going 21-19 during his four years with the Bruins.

Hmmm..trying to copy what U$C did with Pete? UCLA is a sleeping giant and could be a very good program, they recruit well. With the right hire, they will be a team to be reckoned with.

Interesting hire. If he has success and Sarkisian moves on somewhere, he's going to be the next coach at UW though.

I am a Sark fan, but Don James was a badass.

I wish ucla had hired Jim Mora Sr. We might have
been a step closer to college football playoffs.

Good for him, always like him even if he did coach the Falclowns. I think he will be a better College coach. He has the personality and the likability to be a great recruiter, will be really tough to get it done in USC’s back yard.

Kiffen will outrecruit Mora Jr. every year so this hire won't solve UCLA's problems.

the trouble with UCLA is that they do not support the team with money but still expect to be one of the top programs in the country.
