I agree. I'm just saying if you're content to be a DC for the time being you're likely only moving unless forced, like Chavis. Whatever, maybe that's just his boy and he wants to work with him.

Leach is a retread that has rebuilt two moribund P5 programs into top 25 teams. Norvell and Kiffin have been better than mediocre in their G5 leagues. None of the three is a fricking aggy who has publically professed dislike of Arkansas.

Love this hire if true, super jelly. Good job Hogs, I think he will do well. I REALLY wanted LSU to at least take a look at him, but, you know, Alleva and stuff.

He lost to a FCS school in his 5th year... Think about how mad we were when Bielema beat a 1-7 FBS school by 1 point in year 5. He's Houston Nutt that throws it. Wins a couple he shouldn't, loses a couple he shouldn't. He has no resemblance of a running game.

Steele and O just suck.
Morris is in his 3rd year in a major rebuild. I mean June Jones admitted he didn't recruit the final 2 years there. He's basically working with sanctions from the previous staff and produced a top 4 season at SMU in 30 years in his 3rd year.

Morris is a legend in HS here in Texas and knows about every coach at the big schools
Arkansas wanted someone with Texas ties and they got their guy. He's a very good recruiter

Morris is a really good hire IYAM. Similar offense to Gus but a much better recruiter and has TX ties. Probably 3mill or so cheaper per year as well. You did well, Hog fans.

You people who do not realize how great of a hire this is know nothing about college football. Chad Morris was left with 0 talent at SMU when he arrived. June Jones had a bunch of poo poo on the roster and left the program in shambles. He just plain did not recruit for the last few years of his tenure at SMU.
In two real recruiting years, Chad has gotten the best season record at SMU in nearly 30 years and got us bowling again. I was hoping for one more year with him.
