New #Jaguars structure: “As part of our new framework, the position of Executive Vice President of Football Operations will not be filled in 2020. Dave and Doug will each continue to report directly to (Khan).

I guess it gives Khan a year to ponder who to turn the keys over to from VP on down

2 years removed from an AFC title game appearance, and has the weapons on offense to be competitive in that division. And maybe they don't feel they have any better options at the moment.

He has 1 more season. See if Nick Foles can stay healthy and actually pans out. Or Minshew is actually worth the hype.

Peterson build a Taylor made offense for Foles.

There is a reason he didn’t succeeed anywhere else.

Not saying it will work. But this is probably their thinking.

Think the players like marrone. If coughlin was that toxic he could’ve been weighing heavily on everyone. If they can hit on their picks and the two firsts for ramsey I think he could right the ship.

Offensive line is trash. Seriously the worst pass blocking group in the league and not a great run bl9cking group.

Chark isn't an elite WR. He'd be so better suited as the #2 guy across from a true stud.

All the other WRs are 3/4 guts playing as 2/3s and it shows.

TEs are useless in the passing game and mediocre blockers.

Foles was a waste of $50-100 million. Minshew is a game manager with decent mobility. Neither are the answer.

The only piece on this offense is Leonard Fournette.

Essentially blames Coughlin for the teams struggles. Guess we will see if that’s accurate or not.

Jags are over the cap already for next season. It makes no sense to being in a new guy with that mess. They’ll have a better shot at luring a bigger better name after next season.

They role worth what they have and try to build through the draft this year.

I count three errors in this post.

1. Pederson, not Peterson.

2. tailor - unless someone named Taylor designed the offense.

3tailor in lowercase, because it’s not a proper noun, again unless Taylor is a person.

Other than that, GREAT post!

Most of those things can be improved upon in this year's free agency period and the draft. Teams can turn around really quick with a few key acquisitions.

Their options for a new coach probably aren't much better than what they have now. Ron Rivera would have been a great fit for them but he got signed quickly.
