James Franklin on the USC rumors. "It's that time of year where all these types of things happen. We're focused on Maryland completely, 100 percent. I don't think it's fair or right to even be talking about that job. We're completely focused on Maryland."

I'm not sure what else you'd want him to say. If he flat out denies any desire to go to SC, people will quote Saban in Miami.

He probably said it this way because Helton hasn't even been fired yet. The Southern Cal job is not vacant. The whole "don't talk about another man's job" thing.

How much would a helicopter used as a daily commuter cost? If I'm Saban, I would probably take the USC job for $10MM if they could throw this in so I could live wherever I wanted in LA
