Press conference winding down now. New indoor practice facility. Turf installed in stadium. New contract.
James challenged community to sell out bowl game, spring game and home games next year. He wants people to stop complaining about the past and be a part of the great future.
Sounds like a great coach. Look forward to seeing what he can do. Sounds like a great day for Vandy football.

I was hoping the Heels would get Franklin. I guess they should gamble on Malzahn now. With that being said, I hope he can put together a great staff because I don't think he can be succesful without one.

Franklin is the real deal. He is going to do at Vandy what Stanford has done.
He is bringing in a top 25 recruiting class and Vanderbilt was within striking distance of a 10-2 season this year.

Agreed. It will help him that TN, State, and Ole Miss are having issues right now.

I like the guy. He refuses to allow any team to treat Vandy like everyone has treated Vandy in the past. He is legit. Lots of heart, passion and energy. It is an enigma that the only team in the SEC, and maybe even Div1 that doesn't have an AD, has fielded a #1 BkB team, a #1 baseball team and a football team going to a bowl game in his rookie season.
