Let me cope damnit. 
My son who is the huge Jags fan (born in that area) has stuck with that fricking franchise despite constant ridicule from the bandwagon little shits in his school was so happy to be rid of Doug this morning. Just doesn’t get the entire problem at 12
It’s just amazing to me that a self made billionaire can be so daft when it comes to this kind of thing.

You have your OC calling up stuff like a designed fade to a RB on an early down late in the 4th with plenty of time on the clock to run it out and score.... with BTJ, Evan Engram, and others on the roster.
I genuinely feel bad for Trevor. First year he has a legit number 1 receiver and he gets hurt. Has dealt with Pedersen and Meyer as his head coaches. He deserves a good coach.

Baalke is like the GM version of one of those coordinators who isn't very good, but bounces around the league for years because they are seen as a "safe" choice in a very risk-averse league.
He makes some legitimately very good draft picks. But he also picks only on measurables far too often and misses guys who might not have the right arm length or height or whatever else but are good players, and then takes a guy who is a workout warrior that doesn't produce on the field. You can't just get next to nothing out of your 2nd and 3rd rounders even if you nail the first rounders.

Agree. WAY to common in the NFL, drafting strictly on measureables, its "safe" harder to get fired when the workout warrior doesn't pan out vs. taking a chance on the bettrer football player who doesn't break records at the combine.

Ben Johnson is a HOT name. He seems like he will be a very good coach. But he hasn't actually done it yet.... are you really going to can an experienced GM (even if he is flawed) because a guy who has never been a head coach before says the right things?

It kind of blows my mind how a self made billionaire with his resources doesn't privately bring in (select whatever extremely respected nfl front office resource you want that will gladly meet for a rich consulting fee) and get a clear list of front office guys and HCs.
