heard this as well. Woodward was actually leaning towards Napier (they are very close) but after Saban recommended Tucker it seems to be changing things. Everything else you are saying makes sense. Wouldn't surprise me if they are working out the details.

WTF, you people don’t even seem real. Are you bots?

Saban’s recs while being our rival what a clown world.

1) When Scott talked to Saban it was about Tucker and Napier. Saban recommended Tucker.

IF this is true, then that means we should hire Napier.

Of course they are. That’s what the sauces are saying baw. We all know Woody doesn’t keep a tight ship about coaching hires so there’s leaks all over the place, regardless whether they make any sense whatsoever in the real world.

You being sarcastic here? I think so, but just wanted to make sure

Do you have a list or idea who you want to take over?
not a clue at this point, honestly.

I’d love to see Woody pull a guy like Lincoln Riley I guess. Unlike the baseball hire, I’m just going to sit back and let this one happen without trying to dissect everything that is supposedly leaked. Just entertaining pointing out how gullible our fan base is.

He'd be a home run as long as Grinch didn't come with him .

He hasn’t proven to be successful. Could also be a colossal fail like Taggert. I don’t believe in forcing a hire due to race.

Saban and Kirby aren’t black and have massive recruiting advantages because they win. Winning cures all.

Smoke... So we are going to hire a guys off of Saban's recommendation? That sounds ridiculous and didn't happen.

Big deal. Orgeron was only hired because he was “one of us”.

All of that is very easily believable. I’m not sure I want it to happen though. He will probably be under .500 at that time.

He may be the "favorite" now, but that all very much depends on his performance rest of the season.

IF he doesn't look good in his games against #6 Mich, #25 Purdue, #5 OSU, & #7 Penn St., then he is out.

Nothing is a done deal yet.
