LSU (Woodward & donors) did not go through this ordeal with O agreeing to a without cause termination paying him his buyout just to hire another coach. Woodward doesn’t operate in the average. Something big is going to happen and the big donors are not going to let Tate interfere. Woke or not, the donors are not spending a bazillion millions for that. We are watching a plan being worked out. It is hasty to draw conclusions at this point. We need to wait as late as January to see what happens. My gut feeling is that we’re going to be really happy and excited to see the new coach and coordinators.

Can’t say it’s done but Woodward isn’t going off these lists we keep seeing. He’s going for the big catch. He didn’t go through all this for another run of the mill coach.

Franklin has to be considered the worst candidate based on his rape cover up. If it was your daughter would you even watch an LSU game ever again? If you even knew her could you stomach seeing that man on our sideline? I don’t fall in either of these categories and I know I will never watch LSU again if they hire this man. The thought is abhorrent.

There is no comparing the two. Saban arrived to a program on a decade long slide and turned them into National Champions. O arrived to a team in decline but well stacked with talent. If you reversed the situations you may find it difficult to believe O does what Saban did.

Since LSU agreed to pay O then someone wrote a check. LSU athletics is not poor. I promise you, my friends, money was spent to clear the way for a glorious future.

Woodward hired the best WBB coach. During the baseball search all sorts of names were floated around and we never thought it would be JJ.

It doesn’t not have to be a new development. It has to be established that O was culpable. It can be putting facts together to substantiate cause.

For cause requires an opportunity to respond. Cure periods or whatever language is to give the person notice and opportunity to correct the course.
