Look, I know everyone thinks this is crazy but all the evidence leads to Saban. The main reason Rantards downvote this is because they don’t believe Saban will leave Bama for LSU. It’s not about money, or an easy transition, or coasting in a successful program. It’s about a passion that Saban still has towards LSU. We’re the girlfriend he wished he married and now he has a chance to get her back. No sauces just simple understanding of human behavior. At the end of the day you just want to be happy and for Saban it’s time.

It is too logical for an LSU hire. We will find a way to screw this up.....I promise you!

It’s plausible I guess. In some ways it makes sense.

Alleva messed it up. We could have had him in 2017 if we had gone about it right. Woodward is not Alleva. He didn’t mess it up this time.

Saban could have returned when after that ATM games and Miles would have been fired. There was apparently zero interest.

There was interest but Alleva approached Saban, Sweeney, and Meyer asking if they wanted to be considered. All said no because it made them look like they were jobseekers rather than top executives. No one of their caliber approaches a job that way.

Alleva was AD.

I believe Saban and Woodward are pretty close.

Much different circumstances. IMO, of course.

So does this mean it's Saban week ?

Bout time Saban leaves the Gump Gutter and jumps between the loins of LSU.

He’s looking for another challenge.

That’s why he went to the NFL.

What could be a better challenge than building another dynasty at LSU.

He knows he can do it with our talent.

Would there be another coach in any sport in history that would go out with his legacy?

The only way he would want to come back here is because he's bored of winning and needs a new challenge. But that is highly unlikely
