It is an ironic dynamic. People come on here for information and then get mad when people try to pass along information. To me part of the fun of this process is wading through the BS and trying to figure out what’s real.

I have extreme doubts that Saban is inclined to step back into the current landscape of college football, particularly in our mucky corner of it, but his presence is something the program/university could really use.
His personality, combined with his status and pedigree, would be as stabilizing a force as one could hope for. No one, not even a scheming, imbecile of a governor or the most affluent of booster, would be able to steal his spotlight or control of the narrative.
Truly, a second stint here could be almost as valuable as his first, regardless of its length or level of on-field success.
