There a couple names that, as an LSU fan, would really piss me off if they were hired.

Dillingham is not one of them

I like him as a coach, and as someone else already posted, I am very excited for the potential for the obnoxious overuse of dilly dilly gifs.

Most posters here want you to ignore that because he's young, fiery, and hungry.

In some ways I’d prefer Dill to Kiff.

I would drive the price up for Kiffin and let UF and Ole Miss get into a bidding war. While they are over-paying for a coach LSU can hire Dillingham and have more money for NIL.

And I think he’s going to be a perfect fit.

I’d be very happy with Dillingham.

While I do believe that Lane Kiffin is a very good coach, he strikes me as the type who is always looking for the next best thing. I don’t think he would stay more than a few years. He will either take an NFL gig or leave us for another program when the pressure gets too much to handle. Expectations at LSU will be a lot higher than what he’s used to at Ole Miss. Can he take the heat?

Unfortunately the same could be said about Dillingham and him jumping to the NFL a in a couple of years.

you’re emotional about this, there are deeper issues present.

Happy or angry about who lsu hired mean deeper issue?

We’re on a lsu message board for lsu fans. Every one on here is because they are emotional about lsu football

It’s a pretty big gamble but he seems to be having modest success out west

He’s from Arizona so not sure why he’d want to uproot and come to Louisiana

He is a much superior candidate on paper. He did win a conference championship too.
