Didn't O go public last year with the coordinator searches, especially the D-coordinator? If I remember right, that was a bit of a fiasco.
Woodward is doing it right by keeping his cards close to his vest. He can't help all the speculation from the media and message boards, of course, but he should not respond to any of it.

He is not worried about your feelings for something that may or may not have happened the way everyone thought. Just let the man finish his job. Then take quarrel with him if you don't like it. Lincoln Riley is not the only good candidate in earth.

Yes we are, but message board bitching doesn't solve anything. Remember that the baseball the took a long time, too. A prominent candidate emerged with a lot of smoke around his nane. That all evaporated and everyone lost their minds. Then we hired a really good baseball coach.

A lot of folks on here need to touch grass. This board is entertaining but has always been a highly exaggerated and often distorted version of reality. They have worked themselves into a tizzy over rumors like a bunch of old church ladies, and now feel embarrassed, not because of how much of their personal worth they attach to being right about who the coach is, but because they feel they were bamboozled.
