It is real obvious Brick is not the next DC

He would have been given the title by now and LM would not be wasting time meeting potential candidates. Brick may be ok with this since he has not mentioned he wanted to go elsewhere.

Yea I'm not sure why people think he is getting promoted. LM is out on the trail finding a proven quality replacement and not just wasting time.

Chavis didn't recruit worth a damn and we were fine from a talent perspective. We need an Xs and Os guy. We've got the recruiters...especially if we can get Orgeron on board.

If Brick was the first choice then I would agree with the OP. However, if he's the 3rd, 4th, etc choice, and #'s 1-4 turn us down then I can see Brick being promoted. Similar to the Pelini-Maleveto thing.
