Idk, after watching him do the exact opposite of what he should have done when taking over state, I have no faith in his decision making.

I like his style of defense but there are others out there. Pare him up with Bo Davis or whomever our DC is with Bo Davis. Might be fantasy but it would flip the entire defensive conversation immediately. Would also immediately impact the defensive recruiting!
Nail this Defensive staff hire and things could change rather quickly at LSU. Obviously the offense will be there. Imo Nuss proved a lot in that game. His situational play in that bowl game was something we’ve been missing even with JD. Now it was against Wisconsin but our defense kept putting us in horrible situations and he kept getting us right back out of it. The INT was a product of little time with the offense. He played that well in this game, he can get even better.

I have no faith that he can run a program but it doesn’t make him a bad DC. Seems like his OC hire was his biggest blunder, and that’s not his problem as a coordinator.
You could argue that it’s a silver lining - I don’t see him being targeted for P5 HC jobs anytime soon.
