He’s definitely talking to both of him or at least his representation is.
I don’t know what Florida did to piss him off but he’s apparently not even entertaining calls from them

Every Tulane fan, player, and administrator knows he is leaving. He is going to do the best possible job he can while there.
Everyone at ole Miss should have recognized this as well and they should have taken the same approach.

Leaked that meeting last week

I mean most every Tulane fan is expecting him to take the Auburn job.
He does like/love the city and Tulane. So it's not really a troll that he is showing love for it.
We went pretty much every season with Fritz interviewing for jobs.

Exactly. Same exact thing. Only difference is how Ole Miss folks (and media) are acting about it.

The point is Lane did exact same thing and it threw the Ole Miss people into irate tizzy claiming it was trolling.

Fair enough. It probably also doesn't help that he is likely going to another SEC school and if it is LSU its a rival.
With Sumrall while I don't think he is an elite coach he has kept Tulane rolling after Fritz left so we will be an attractive job.

No doubt Tulane has been on a roll. Fritz must have been very underrated. Houston solid now too

Fly this on a giant arse banner over Oxford, MS.
The fans want his head on a pike for daring to do his job.

Tulane should hire Bobby Petrino.

He has won at every place he has coached. We were a pretty disciplined team also. He would have two players be 'captains' off the field and would split the roster between the two. Which ever 'team' won that week would get certain privileges.
He probably would have won more a little sooner at Tulane had he not tried to force certain quarterbacks.
He also was good at losing a game he shouldn't every season (Southern Miss in 2022) but that's probably most teams.
It was a stark contrast to that piece of shite Curtis Johnson who would have players work out on their own. So what would happen is one player would sign in 3-4 guys so they wouldn't have to work out that day.

Scott Stricklin probably happened

Seriously? You don’t know?
They used him as an unwitting pawn to try and get Kiffin to respond.

Probably thought he was being used as a pawn for Lane instead of showing general interest like Auburn and Ole Miss. Didn't want to be a part of that. Or the fans caught wind of it and was like hell no not another G6 coach and they mutually agreed to scrap the meeting.

Sumrall is the Prince of Trolls lately.

Florida tried to use him to re-engage Kiffin interest.
The guy has options, he doesn't have to take an BS.

He runs in Audubon Park every morning, met him a couple times out.
Nice guy and wonderful family. I wish him well in his future endeavors.

He met with Florida last week per AYS, cancelled the meeting on Tuesday but met with them the following day.
