Is Rich Rod deserving of one more upgrade? He’s won 8 in-a-row.

Rich Rodriguez is 61. He has won a ton of games at Jacksonville State in 3 years.

He modifies his offense to win with the talent he has time and time again.

In the right situation (and I just don’t mean with an attractive single-mom Admin Assistant in her 30’s that he can call “Tootz”), does Coach Rod get one more try in the AAC/Big 12/ACC?

Would be funny if he ended up back at WVU

I think he could be raised up a little.

He only had one losing season at Arizona just that one season was an absolute shitter. Finished 43-35 there and Arizona is hopeless in football.

Sure why not.

He’s 61 and bombed out at 2 G4 jobs. He’s right where he needs to be. Maybe he can take the UAB job though?

Feel like he would do well at a place like Miss St. Low expectations, good fan support, solid talent base.

Did he really bomb out at Arizona? One losing season and a 43-35 record doesn't seem like bombing out especially at Arizona.

He bombed out at a job that was an obvious poor fit.

As long as you keep the cheerleaders (allegedly) away from him he should definitely get another shot at a bigger school.

He was wildly successful at another that hasn't even come close to that level of success since.

I wonder what his career trajectory would have been if he never took the Michigan job. Everyone and their mother knew that was a horrible fit.

The alternate timeline where rich rods wife doesn’t make him turn down the bama job is crazy to think about.

He'd still be there if he had kept his dick in his pants.

Rich Rod is a really good coach and a really difficult personality. He actually improved each season at Michigan, and might've gotten another year there if he wasn't such an a-hole.

A bigger program would have to be desperate to deal with him now, which isn't impossible, but I doubt it's likely.

Funny enough, there are some WVU donors who would like to see him back…

He didn't bomb out anywhere

Michigan barely gave him 3 years and fired him after he'd begun a winning trajectory - it wasn't Michigan level expectations, I get it

I was always curious if Brady Hoke went 11-2 off of the team that Rich Rod built. He improved all three years at Michigan, only to get fired at 7-6.

Rich Rod went
3-9
5-7
7-6

Hoke went
11-2
8-5
7-6
5-7

it would be fun to see Rich Rod take Southern Miss, but I'd guess he wants to stay back east as much as possible, just since eastern time zone (or close) is his home
