No fire in the Administration. No leadership from Miles. And a disorganized football product on the field. Amazing no one in power does not see this. Remember, this is the same mentality that hired Curly Hallman.

That's surprising given what has happened but when you pay $4M a year you'd expect the CEO to take care of the product.
I think there has to be at least some smoldering at this point.

Extension is at the discretion of the Chancellor. No extension granted last year.

Dude, Miles' assistants have carte blanche when it comes to coaching. There is a reason for it. Miles cannot coach his way out of a wet paper sack.

So the way weve beeen playing is ultimately on the shoulders of who writes the checks and who hired miles. Miles just has to keep winning more than he lises and he stays.

the LSU administration is AT LEAST aware of the problems with Les and their "concerns" with Les are being discussed by the higher ups. Below is another email former BOS president, Charlie Weems, sent me following the Ole Miss game when I asked about the possibility of replacing Miles. This email is pretty good insight into what the BOS and LSU admins are thinking.
FROM CHARLIE WEEMS:
"thanks for your email. I am as sick this morning as you are, and as all Tiger fans are. I'm trying to take a deep breath, let a couple of days pass, and watch to see how our kids react and play against Arkansas. As you know LSU has a huge investment in Les Miles, who did lead us to a national championship, so it needs to be thoughtful about making such momentous decisions. Believe me I am very concerned about the same things you are, and our administration is similarly concerned. There are so many factors involved with making changes - especially abrupt changes - that we need to be cautious and make sure we know as much as we can before taking a course of action that can itself have far more negative consequences than poor game management in Oxford. I don't have a direct say in such matters, but I think we have to let the season play out and see what our alternatives are. Perhaps there are ways for Les to solve game management issues without us throwing away the great good that he has done in his tenure. We've learned more times than one that stability is a good thing in a football program, and for that reason alone I think we need to go slow. But I couldn't sleep last night and my heart hurts this morning.
Thanks again for writing and I will certainly let the powers that be know of your feelings and those of many others I have heard from last night and this morning.
