i don't know, maybe check his coaching bio.... never worked outside of Ohio

This means nothing

I’m sure he’d prefer coach at OSU

But I have a hard time believing he would turn down a premier college coaching job making 7-9M a year simply because he prefers living in Ohio

None of that has anything to do with him wanting to stay in the Midwest

Could potentially have everything to do with him wanting the OSU job if Day leaves for the NFL

Which would make sense. But that’s not the same as “doesn’t wanna leave the Midwest” which is a silly notion

If a coach is so dead set on coaching in Ohio, then don't want anyway. They will never be all in. But i just don't believe that from a upcoming big name. The great ones do whatever it takes to get to the pinnacle. Hoping for Ohio state or ND and waiting it out seems short sighted. I just can't imagine this is the case. Not to mention the substantial pay bump.

Pretty simple.

He demands an out in his contract for OSU or ND.

Either that is acceptable to LSU or not.

Urban Meyer at Florida had an out in his contract for the OSU job.
