I will admit Aranda was my favorite candidate throughout and I did not really consider Kelly as a candidate because he did not seem realistic hire. That said, I can certainly see the value Kelly adds over Aranda in terms of experience and stability to go along with excellent coaching.

I think this is a great hire.

Aranda is our future, but Kelley is our immediate future.

Yes, Aranda may be good in the future, but he doesn’t have enough games coached as HC. There’s not enough history as a recruiter.

LOL ... well we only have their HC history to review:

One is top 3 in most successful coach in the sport and turned around several programs over 3 decades.

the other is in his 2nd year and is around .500 in his career.

hmmmmmm aranda was 'ahead' because most didn't know BK was an option.
