I like Herman, but he's a massive risk. For every urban Meyer there are multiple failures. Kevin Sumlin, Brian Kelly, etc.

Kudos to Alleva if he is indeed flying back and forth from Fla to Houston to try and make this happen.

I am a bit nervous though, if Tom Herman's offer is contingent on Jimbo's decision.

Why wouldnt we. Elite college coaches are like good NFL QBs, you simply cannot win without them.
