I see a lot of “I’m not racist… I’ve got a friend who’s black but we can’t let one of them take over our football team.” I didn’t know so many ppl cared that the President until he was black.

Those types have been working themselves up ever since Bill Tate was hired, they desperately want him to make everything about race so they have something to complain about and play the victim over.

It’s a way of life in America now. Race was a big issue for a long time. It was not the major topic of everything from the 70s-late 2010s and now it is the major issue of every topic thanks to media and progressive Democrats. And, I think most on here have been fine with proposals of Franklin or Aranda, so if you are suggesting people do not want a Black coach you are just wrong.

Here's the thing you definitely have people that would be against LSU having a AA head football coach for reasons other that qualifications, but that is not the real issue here. It appears Tate wants an AA coach regardless if he's qualified or not. and that is BS!!
He wants to beat his chest and say say he was the first to do something and make it about him and not what's best for LSU! IMO this really what the overwhelming majority of the people are u8pset about because of what is being leaked out. LSU has the resources and the band to hire the best. This hire should not be a social experirment!!
