Is disgusting. These sort of comments are exactly why the rest of the country views us like a bunch of extras in forest gump.

Man, shut the hell up with this ignorant bullshite. Its totally untrue and unsubstantiated. Its very moronic to label an institution and people associated with it as racists or anywhere remotely close when that said institution has a black frickin president. Let me say that again...LSU has a BLACK PRESIDENT. Last time i checked people who are racist dont hire someone into a position of that stature from the exact racial background which they supposedly are racist against. That just makes you sound like the fool that you are. Also, LSU has many black assistant coaches in alot of different sports, definitely in football, and has had black head coaches in the past in some sports. All people are saying is that LSU and woodward need to hire someone based on their qualifications and skills, not just because they are or arent a certain race. It seems more racist to me for LSU to tell woodward he must hire a minority coach. THAT is singling out prospective candidates simply because of their race. I dont care what race you are either, bc youre a qualified idiot regardless, So, screw you.

Well damn, its pretty obvious. All im saying is that its not that mel tucker is black why some lsu fans dont think hes the right coach. For instance, i promise you that if LSU hired mike tomlin as head coach those same lsu fans, as well as i, would be absolutely ecstatic. On the flipside, if lsu hired clay helton as head coach, people would be fricking livid, and for good reason.

He’s talking about the fans being racist. The fans didn’t hire Tate as president, the BOS did. So just because LSU has a blk President doesn’t mean a lot of the fans aren’t racist. When they announced him as president, u should have read the comments.
